About
BTDYA is one person: Tewodros Basie Workie, working across game development, 3D, animation and creative direction.
The studio was founded in Addis Ababa to build original games and to do animation work worth putting a name on. Right now that means one game, Backhand, and a small amount of client work chosen to fit around it.
Everything you see here was made by one person, and it is deliberately not presented as more than that. The intention is to grow into a small team, once the work justifies it. That is the whole plan, and there is no rush to overstate it.
The name comes from my family. Five people, five letters, in order.
